This book was a surprisingly light and entertaining read.

It’s actually very sweet watching him try to learn more about her in order to place her, despite how much human ways confuse him. Olix is the head of the clan and all eyes are on them. They come from completely different species and cultures and they have to learn how to not only coexist, but to be a married pair. But that was the last thing they want and she hast to come up with ways to do the farming that she longs for while also saving her new people. She thought to get there and turn things around by turning them all the farmers. But they have plenty of land, which is where Susan comes in. They are a tribe of hunters, but their supply of prey is dwindling.

She is matched with what they can only describe as a Lizardman, Olix.

In order to have her own bit of land to farm, she decides to sign up for a mating agency. Susan comes from a planet where being the third daughter leaves her with basically nothing. This was much better than what the title was suggest LOL. With his ancestral lands on the line and the future of the clans threatened, could this wisp of a woman turn their fate around? … ( more) How can such a tiny thing be their salvation? And yet, his Susan's softness is disturbingly addictive while hiding a surprising resilience. The Seer must have been mistaken when she insisted that, for the sake of the people, he take a mate from the stars. With everything going on, the last thing Olix needs is a mate, especially a squishy, scaleless, off-worlder with strange ways, and an obsession with farming. She just never expected to be paired to a grumpy, massive lizardman, and above all not to grow so fond of his scales and quirky ways. Her only way out is to settle for an arranged marriage through the PMA - the Prime Mating Agency. With her twenty-fifth birthday approaching, and no suitors even remotely sniffing in her general direction, Susan will be forced to leave the family lands to work as an indentured servant in the capital city. A pretty face, top-notch skills, and hard work mean nothing if your dowry doesn't include fertile lands. As a third daughter on the farming colony of Meterion, Susan's future prospects aren't too promising.
